A long way to Mile Zero
Cung's path to Dawson Creek didn't begin in Dawson Creek. Born abroad and trained across two continents, he chose to plant roots in the Peace region precisely because he saw a community that deserved — but didn't always have access to — the kind of dentistry that big cities take for granted.
Training with the best
In 2022 he was one of a small cohort invited to complete the BITES Institute Certified Implant Residency — a year-long fellowship in advanced implant surgery taught by some of North America's most respected oral surgeons and prosthodontists. He graduated with honors.
Building the practice he wanted
When Cung took over Dawson Creek Dental & Hygiene Centre he rebuilt it from the studs. New chairs. New technology. A reception that feels like a hotel lobby. Cedar beams exposed. Brass fixtures, hand-plastered walls, a reading room instead of a waiting room. He wanted patients to feel the care before he ever touched a tooth.
